The Google BigQuery integration streams selected push, email, and SMS lifecycle events to your BigQuery dataset, one row per event. Data goes one way only, from Pushwoosh to BigQuery.
You need a paid Pushwoosh account and a Google Cloud project with billing enabled (Free Trial credits work; BigQuery Sandbox doesn't). You pay Google for BigQuery usage; Pushwoosh doesn't charge for the integration.
In Google Cloud (your developer or admin may need to help): enable BigQuery API and BigQuery Storage API, create a Service Account with BigQuery Data Editor and BigQuery User roles, create a JSON key, and create a dataset.
In Pushwoosh:
- Go to Settings → 3rd Party Integrations, find Google BigQuery, and click Configure.
- Fill in GCP Project ID, Service Account JSON, Dataset ID, Dataset region, and optionally Table name (default
pushwoosh_events). - Select Events and turn on Stream events to BigQuery.
- Click Test connection, then Apply.
Events usually appear in BigQuery within 30 seconds. Turning off Stream events to BigQuery pauses streaming; events from that period aren't backfilled later. One destination is supported per application.
