Yes. Besides paid orders and checkouts, the Shopify integration tracks storefront browsing and checkout steps, so you can build browse-abandonment and checkout drop-off segments or journeys.
| Event | When it fires | What it needs |
|---|---|---|
PW_ProductViewed |
The shopper opens a product page | Push Init Embed ON |
PW_AddToCart |
The shopper adds an item to cart without a page reload | Push Init Embed ON |
PW_CheckoutContactInfo |
The shopper entered contact information | Shopify's checkout-tracking permissions (write_pixels, read_customer_events) |
PW_PaymentInfoSubmitted |
The shopper submitted payment details | Same permissions as above |
A completed sale is still PW_OrderCreated, not the checkout step events.
Before you build on browsing events:
PW_ProductViewedcounts every page load, including reloads, repeat views, and bot traffic.PW_AddToCartonly fires if your store's Add to cart button doesn't reload the page. Click it in your store: if the whole page refreshes, this event will never fire.- If the theme embed is off or a shopper blocks its script, you lose only product views and add-to-cart. Order and checkout events still arrive from Shopify.
