You can rewrite any text on a subscription form in the form editor, without code. This also lets you translate the form: by default, all form text is in English.
- Go to Audience → Subscription forms and open the form, or click Create form.
- Below the live preview, click Customize labels.
- In the Customize form labels dialog, edit the texts you need:
- Heading
- Button
- Privacy Policy Text and Privacy Policy Link Text
- Success Message
- Double Opt In Message (used only if double opt-in is enabled)
- Label and optional Placeholder for each form field
- Click Save.
Your changes appear in the live preview right away. The form on your website updates after you save or publish the subscription form.
For a custom field, you can also set its Field label (the text visitors see next to the input) and Placeholder (optional) when you add it with + Custom field.
