Yes. Set Countries when you create the control group, or later: open the group's page from Settings > Control groups, click Control group settings, select the countries, and click Apply.
- Empty Countries: every user the percentage formula selects is held out, wherever they are.
- Non-empty Countries: only devices whose system Country tag matches one of the selected countries are held out. Devices elsewhere keep receiving marketing messages.
Things to know:
- Country scope doesn't change which users the group selects, only which of their devices are held out. A user with devices in different countries can have some held out and others not.
- A device without a system Country tag is never held out.
- Changing Countries restarts the uplift measurement, because a different audience is now compared. The users in the group stay the same.
- An app can run several control groups, for example one per market. Groups whose countries overlap skew each other's statistics, and Pushwoosh warns you about it. Groups scoped to countries that share none don't overlap.
