Use the Multi-Armed Bandit journey element. It sends a push like the Push element, but you give it several push presets as variants. Instead of a fixed split, it watches which variant gets opened more often (or leads to your reward event more often) and gradually sends that variant to a larger share of users, while still sending the others often enough to keep learning.
To set it up:
- Create at least two push presets in advance.
- Add Multi-Armed Bandit after the trigger or condition and double-click it.
- In Content variants, select at least two presets. Click Add variant for more; there is no upper limit.
- In Reward, choose Push opened or Event happened, and set Reward window (hours).
- Choose Marketing message or Transactional message, set delivery options, and click Save.
Things to know:
- Multi-Armed Bandit is experimental and supports only push presets as variants.
- Early on, variants are sent close to evenly; a leader needs time and volume to emerge.
- It never locks in a winner. The winner gets the largest share, and traffic can move to a new leader if performance shifts.
- Pushwoosh avoids sending the same variant to the same user twice in a row.
In the element's statistics, a banner shows Not enough data yet, Still learning, or Significant leader (marked with a Winner badge), and each variant shows Sent, Opened or Converted, and Traffic.
