How do I fill a push automatically with products from my catalog or articles from a news feed?

Create a push preset that builds its content at send time:

1. Open Content > Push Presets and click Create content.
2. Pick Product recommendations (needs a Product Catalog) or News feed (needs a feed registered under Content > News Feeds).
3. Enter the title and the push message, which is the intro before the item rows.
4. In Content source, set how many items to pull (1 to 3) and how to pick them: Strategy and Sort by for products, Ranking (Newest or Trending) and Feed for articles.
5. Fill in Item template (repeated once per row) with the insert buttons, for example Title and Price, and add an Outro.
6. Optionally turn on Use the leading item's picture as the banner and Open the leading item's link.
7. Under If the feed returns nothing, choose Do not send to this recipient or Send this text instead, then click Save.

Things to know:

• Newest, Back in stock, and Price drop work from catalog data alone. Bestsellers, Bought together, and Recently viewed need purchase or product events from your app, website, or backend.
• Bought together and Recently viewed are picked per recipient, so the preview stays empty for them.
• Turning Open the leading item's link on or off clears any manual on-click action you had set.
