Turn on Send to last active device when you choose the target platforms of a one-time push. Pushwoosh then sends the push to only one of a user's devices: the one where the app was opened most recently among the selected platforms.
- The toggle is off by default, so pushes go to all of a user's devices until you turn it on.
- It works through the user ID: devices without a linked user ID aren't affected and still receive the push.
- Apple and Google Wallet passes always go to every registered device.
Example: a user has a phone and a tablet linked to the same user ID and last opened the app on the tablet. With the toggle off, both devices get the push; with it on, only the tablet does.
