I added buttons to a push. Why aren't taps counted or custom actions working?

Push buttons (up to 3 per mobile push, set in the Buttons section of a push preset) need an up-to-date SDK in your app:

iOS SDK 7.2.10 or later, plus a Notification Service Extension in the app.
Android SDK 6.17.0 or later.

With an older SDK, taps on buttons aren't counted, and Custom action doesn't work on Android. Ask your developers to update the SDK.

Also check:

Buttons show on iOS, Android, and Huawei. Web push doesn't show them, and the Buttons section isn't available for push stories.
For Custom action, the Button ID must match the ID your app handles.
The Destructive style (red button) works on iOS only.
A tap on a button counts as an open of the push; message statistics show taps on each button separately.
