This is expected. For regular messages, Recipients excludes devices that have push notifications turned off. Messages sent to a High Speed Delivery segment skip this check to start delivery faster: the audience is taken from the precompiled segment and sent as is. As a result, every sent message is counted as a recipient, and Recipients equals Sent.
What this means for your statistics
- Recipients for such messages can be higher than the number of people who can actually see the push, because it includes devices with notifications turned off.
- It is not a delivery problem and no audience is lost.
- To compare campaigns, use Delivered and Opened: they come from the devices themselves and are not affected.
