A push preset is saved, reusable push content (title, text, media, on-click action, and platform settings). You can use it in one-time pushes, Customer Journeys, and API requests.
Create a preset
- Go to Content → Push presets and click Create content.
- Choose a content type: Push notification (you write the content), Product recommendations, News feed, or Sponsored push. The type can't be changed after you save.
- Select the languages and enter the title, subtitle, and message for each one. Liquid personalization is supported.
- Optionally, add Media content (banner or icon), On-click actions (web page URL or deep link), and Custom Data, and adjust the iOS, Android, and Huawei notification settings.
- Check the preview, send a Test push notification to a test device if you need to, and click Save at the top of the editor.
The preset then appears in the Push presets list, ready to use in your campaigns. See Create push presets and Manage push presets.
Good to know
- Content you create with Create new inside the one-time push form is not added to the Push presets list. To reuse content, create it under Content → Push presets first.
- Clicking Create new content in a Customer Journey Push element always creates a Push notification preset.
- If content approval is enabled for your account, you have to submit the preset and get it approved before you can select it for sending.
- To use a preset via API, pass its code in the
presetfield of the Messaging API v2 payload.
