How do I move message presets when cloning a customer journey to another app?

Moving message presets during the cloning process depends on the selection you make in the Keep messages content box.

Clone presets automatically

Select the Keep messages content checkbox if you want to copy all message content to the new app. The system makes copies of every preset from the original journey and attaches them to the matching nodes in the new app. Use this method to mirror a journey without needing to set up each node yourself.

Use presets already in the target app

Leave the Keep messages content box unchecked if you want to use presets that are already saved in the destination app. This choice copies the journey structure but leaves all message nodes empty. You have to open every Send Push or Send Email node in the new journey and pick the correct preset from your list. The system does not automatically link existing presets to a new structure.

Update multiple apps

To push updates from a master journey to other apps, follow these steps:

1. Delete the old journey in the target app.
2. Clone the master journey again.
3. Ensure the Keep messages content box is checked.

This process replaces the structure and the message content at the same time.
