When you resume a paused Customer Journey, the behavior for existing and new users is as follows:
Users Already in the Journey: Users who were already active in the journey when it was paused will continue from the exact point where they left off. They do not start over.
New Users: New users who meet the entry segment's criteria will enter the journey according to its defined launch schedule (e.g., daily, weekly). The act of pausing and resuming does not change how or when new users are added; this is always controlled by the launch schedule.
What about the "Re-enter audience into campaign upon resuming" option?
This option is for a different scenario. By default, users can only go through a journey once. If you select this option, users who have already completed or exited the journey in the past can enter it again if they still meet the entry criteria when the journey is resumed.
