Geozone clusters do not work as a journey trigger. In Pushwoosh, each geozone carries its own push message, and a cluster is a way to share one cooldown across several nearby geozones so a device is not messaged repeatedly. Geo campaigns are configured on their own screen, not in Customer Journey.
To send an automatic push when a user enters any one of several locations:
- Create one geozone per location. Go to Campaigns → Geo campaigns and click Create geozone. Set the campaign name, compose the push (Write a message or Use an existing preset), then set the trigger location on the map and the Range (50 m to 100 km, default 200 m). Repeat for Location A, Location B, Location C, and so on.
-
Decide on the cooldown. In the Cooldown field of each geozone choose:
- Standalone — cooldown applies to that geozone only (1 minute to 41 days);
- Use existing cluster or New cluster — the cluster cooldown overrides the geozone's own cooldown.
- Group the geozones into a cluster if you want one shared silent period. On the Geo campaigns page click Create cluster, enter a Cluster name and Cluster cooldown, then assign geozones via Use existing cluster or Move to cluster. Once a device receives a push from any geozone in the cluster, all other geozones in that cluster stay silent until the cooldown expires.
- Set the schedule. In Campaign schedule pick Always active or On selected days and hours. Click Save — the geozone is enabled immediately.
Prerequisites: at least one mobile platform configured, the Pushwoosh SDK integrated with location tracking enabled, and the user's location permission granted (background location permission is required on Android 10+). Geo-based messaging is not available on HMS/Huawei devices.
