Open Project overview and check the Channel reach card on the App metrics tab. It shows, as of the last day of the selected period:
- Total contacts: every User ID in the project, including users with no device, such as users added by a tag import.
- Reachable in ≥ 1 channel and Reachable in ≥ 2 channels, with their share of Total contacts.
- Channel combination rows: each row is one exact set of channels. A user in the Push + Email row is reachable on push and email and nothing else. A row marked only has a single channel.
- Unreachable: users you can't reach on any channel, including users with no device.
A user counts as reachable on:
- Push: the device has a push token and push permission. All push platforms, including web push, count as one channel.
- Email: the address hasn't unsubscribed or hard-bounced.
- SMS / WhatsApp: a phone number is registered for that channel.
- Inbox: any app or browser device. Shown only if the project used Message Inbox in the last 30 days.
Each user is counted once, so the rows and Unreachable add up to Total contacts. A person stored under two User IDs is counted twice. A row can differ from a segment with the same conditions: the card is a snapshot of the period's last day, and a segment counts devices per channel.
Tip: a large Push only row means an email-only campaign misses those users.
