Which SMS providers can I use with Pushwoosh, and how do I connect one?

Pushwoosh sends SMS through your own SMS provider account. You connect it yourself in the Control Panel. Once it's connected, SMS is available in one-time campaigns, Customer Journeys and the Messaging API.

Supported providers

Twilio, Amazon SNS, SMSGlobal, SMSAla, CapitoleMobile, Mobipace, SMSCenter, SMSTraffic, TextMe.co.il, AbleMobile, MStat, SMSAPI.ro.

Provider availability may depend on your account and region. Your Control Panel shows the providers available to you.

MMS (subject and image attachments) is delivered only through AbleMobile. Other providers send the plain-text body.

How to connect a provider

1. Go to Settings > Configure Platforms > SMS.
2. Choose your provider.
3. Enter the credentials from your provider account. The set depends on the provider: for example, account ID, API key, sender ID or phone number.
4. Send a test message.

Delivery receipts

Some providers (Twilio, SMSGlobal, SMSAla, SMSAPI.ro) receive the callback URL automatically with every message. For others, you register a webhook URL once in the provider's dashboard. See SMS provider webhooks for the URLs per provider.

My provider isn't on the list

• If you have your own bind to an operator or aggregator, it can be connected over SMPP. This is set up by your Pushwoosh account team.
• A custom integration with another provider is possible as a paid project. Contact your account manager or Pushwoosh Support with your provider's API documentation.
• Alternatively, you can send SMS through any provider's API using a Webhook element in Customer Journey.
