Yes. Pushwoosh records two default events, the same way PW_EmailSent works for email:
- PW_SMSSent fires once an SMS is dispatched to the SMS provider.
- PW_WhatsAppSent fires once a WhatsApp message is dispatched to the WhatsApp provider.
Both have the same attributes:
- message_id and message_code: identify the message.
- status_code: the status code returned by the provider for this send attempt. Use it to tell success from failure.
- campaign_id and campaign_code: included when the message was sent as part of a campaign. campaign_code may be missing even when campaign_id is present.
Use them to:
- create segments based on the number of SMS or WhatsApp messages sent;
- track dispatch outcomes with status_code;
- start a journey with a Trigger-based Entry on the event;
- see all messages sent to a user in the Events history in User Explorer.
To use an event before the first data arrives, activate it: go to Audience → Events, click Create Event, select Default Event, choose the event, and click Activate.
