Why are some devices from my CSV file not added to the segment during import?

When importing a CSV file to create or update a segment, the system validates each device identifier (HWID) against the devices currently registered within your application's userbase.

If a device HWID from your CSV file does not match an existing, registered device in your application's database, it will be skipped and will not be added to the segment. This commonly occurs if the CSV file contains:

• Outdated device identifiers.
• Identifiers for devices that have never registered with your specific application.

To ensure all intended devices are included in the segment, please verify that your CSV file contains only valid and currently registered HWIDs for the specific application you are targeting.
