You cannot change a tag type once it exists. You cannot add or remove User-specific or Application-specific flags because these settings dictate how the database stores the data.
To change a tag type, you must:
- Delete the tag.
- Create a new tag with the same name and the new settings.
Deleting a tag removes all data associated with it for every user. You must send the data again after you recreate the tag. You can use the /bulkSetTags API method to upload these values.
