Connect your sender domain to Gmail Postmaster. Its data then appears in the How Gmail sees your domain section on the Email tab of Project overview.
Before you start: the domain's DKIM records must be verified, and you need to be able to add a TXT record in DNS.
- Go to Settings > Configure Platforms and click Configure next to Email message.
- In Your sender domains, click Connect in the Gmail Postmaster column.
- Click Connect Gmail Postmaster and copy the TXT record value (it starts with
google-site-verification=). - Add it in your DNS as a TXT record with the host
@. If agoogle-site-verificationrecord already exists, add this one next to it; don't replace it.
Pushwoosh checks the record automatically; click Verify DNS records to check right away. Once the status is Verified, keep the record in DNS.
What you'll see:
- Spam rate: under 0.1% is healthy; 0.1% or higher shows At risk; at 0.3% or higher Gmail starts rejecting mail.
- Mail Gmail refused: the share of refused mail, the main reason, and what to do.
- Gmail sender requirements: Compliant or Needs work for From alignment, one-click unsubscribe, and honoring unsubscribes.
Gmail data covers all mail from the domain, needs enough volume, and arrives about 3 days late. Gmail Postmaster is available only in some Pushwoosh regions.
