Video. Native in-apps have a video display type: a full-screen player with an optional title, message, and buttons on top. It needs iOS SDK 7.2.0+ or Android SDK 6.11.0+; on an older Android SDK the template doesn't render.
- Go to Content → In-apps, click the arrow next to Create in-app, and choose Native in-app.
- In Display type, pick video. Switching the type later resets all fields, so choose it first.
- Under Content, set Video URL to an absolute HTTPS link to an
.m3u8or.mp4file. Optionally add a Poster and a Fallback image. - Under Config, turn on Loop, Muted, or Close button as needed, and add buttons under Actions.
Personalized text. Every text field in a native template supports tags and User ID:
- Click Personalization next to the field toolbar.
- Under Tag, choose a tag or User ID, pick a format modifier, and optionally enter a Default Tag Value.
- Click Insert.
For conditional text, type Liquid syntax directly into the field. On Save, Pushwoosh checks every text field; a broken expression blocks saving with a Dynamic content contains errors toast. The check may still pass expressions that fail only at send time, so send yourself a test.
