Yes. When you create a web campaign (Campaigns → Web campaigns → Create campaign), choose the type:
- Popup: an overlay on top of the page.
- Inline: a block inside an element of your page, for example in a sidebar or under an article.
You can't change the type later.
For an Inline campaign:
- In CSS selector, enter the selector of the page element, for example
#newsletter-signup. Use one simple selector: a tag, an#id, a.class, or an[attribute]. - Ask your developer to add the element Pushwoosh shows under the field, for example
<div id="newsletter-signup"></div>, where the campaign should appear.
The campaign appears inside the first matching element; on pages without one, it isn't shown. Inline campaigns need Web SDK 3.97.0 or later (3.98.0 or later with the npm package). With an older SDK, the campaign appears as a popup.
To collect sign-ups, select a Web form as the campaign content, or click Create new → Web form. A web form can subscribe the visitor's email address to email and save answers from Tag input fields to tags, which you can then use in segments. The same form works in Popup and Inline campaigns. Build forms in Content → Web content with the Email subscription or Blank form template.
