Yes, you can schedule a push notification to be sent automatically at regular intervals using the Recurring push feature in our Customer Journey Builder. This allows you to set up a campaign once and have it run daily, weekly, monthly, or on specific dates.
There are two main scheduling options:
* Periodic launch: Sends messages at regular intervals (e.g., every Monday at 9 AM).
* Launch on several dates: Sends messages on multiple, specific dates you select.
How to Set Up a Weekly Recurring Push
Here is an example of how to schedule a push notification to be sent every week:
- Navigate to the Customer Journey Builder.
- Start a new journey with an Audience-based Entry element.
- In the entry element's settings, enable the Scheduled Launch slider.
- Select the Periodic Launch option.
- Configure the schedule:
- Time unit: Choose
Week. - Interval: Set to
every 1 week. - Day of the week: Select the desired day (e.g.,
Monday). - Launch time: Set the time you want the notification to be sent.
- Time unit: Choose
- Choose a Timezone:
- Subscriber’s device timezone: (Recommended for global audiences) Sends the push at the specified time in each user's local timezone.
- Specific timezone: Sends the push to all users at the same time based on a single timezone you select.
- Apply the settings, complete the rest of your journey (e.g., adding the push message content), and launch the campaign.
Please note: If a subscriber's scheduled launch time has already passed for the current period, they will receive the notification during the next scheduled interval.
