Pushwoosh does not deliver its own system emails to generic role-based addresses — shared mailboxes such as admin@, info@, support@, sales@, billing@, contact@, office@, noreply@, postmaster@, abuse@ and similar — because these are blocklisted by our email provider. The list of role prefixes is maintained by the provider and may change over time.
What this means in practice:
- An account registered with such an address cannot be activated, because the activation email will never arrive.
- You will not receive invoice emails, daily app statistics, reminders or newsletters.
- Such addresses cannot receive team invitations sent from My Account > Users and groups (the Multi-Login Accounts feature).
We therefore recommend using a personal, individual mailbox for registration, for team invites and as your billing contact address.
Note that this restriction applies only to Pushwoosh's own transactional emails to you as an account holder. It does not affect the email campaigns you send to your own subscribers through the Pushwoosh Email channel. If you have already registered with a role address and cannot receive our emails, contact Pushwoosh support to have the address changed.
