While the newer Content -> Push Presets editor does not support saving a segment directly within a preset, you can still create a preset with a pre-defined segment by using the one-time push creation flow. This ensures your target audience is pre-selected when you use the preset for future messages.
Follow these steps to create a Push Preset that includes a segment:
- Navigate to
Channels->Push Notificationand clickOne time push. - Compose your push message content as you normally would.
- Go to the Segmentation tab and select the specific segment you want to save with this preset.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save preset. Give your preset a descriptive name.
To use this preset and have the segmentation automatically applied:
- When creating a new message via the
Channels->Push Notification->One time pushpage, select your saved preset from the dropdown menu in the upper-right corner. The content and the saved segment will be loaded automatically.
