How to submit a crash report?
Detailed crash reports help us identify and solve issues faster.
You can submit a crash report using the following form:
https://help.pushwoosh.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Required Information:
1. Pushwoosh plugin version and framework.
2. Are you able to reproduce the issue?
If so, please provide the steps that lead to the crash.
3. Complete stack trace.
This is crucial for us to pinpoint the exact location in the code where the crash is occurring.
Once you open a specific crash issue, you will find a detailed stack trace under the "Stack trace" or "Logs" tab (Firebase Crashlytics is used as an example):
The stack trace can be downloaded, so you can share it with us in an email:
4. Device, OS details, frequency and patterns of the crashes.
Information about the devices and operating systems where the crashes are occurring most frequently will help us identify if the issue is platform-specific. The Firebase Crashlytics dashboard also provides insights into the frequency of crashes.
This information can be found In the issue summary of the crash report:
5. Crash metadata.
Provide any additional information leading up to the crash.
This may include user actions, network requests, or significant events in the application prior to the crash.
Look for the "Metadata" tab or section in the crash report. It contains information like user actions, app version, device information, etc:
6. Recent changes.
If there have been any recent updates or changes to your app, especially in relation to Pushwoosh integration or other relevant plugins, kindly highlight these.
