We are experiencing issues with our Firefox browser device registrations seeming to be lost after a period of time and then needing to re-register the device in order for notifications to show up again within that browser. Our expienece is we can push notifications and they are successful in reaching the browser, but then after a period of time as we continue to push notifications, and the browser is closed/opened, at some point the notifications will cease to show up anymore. At that point if we go to the browser settings and remove the notification permission and then re-register the browser device with pushwoosh, using the call to the registerDevice api within our application, the notifications that we had pushed previously and been expecting suddenly are pushed to our device. We have observed the service worker in the developer tools and see that it is stopping/starting as it needs to recieve data from Pushwoosh so we suspect that maybe it's not always activating or somehow getting into a weird state where it cannot connect with Pushwoosh. When it gets into this state the only way to fix it is to fully unregister and re-register the browser device with Pushwoosh.
We don't know for sure if this was an issue with previous versions of Firefox or if it's isolated to Quantum.
