    Hi!

When the application process is terminated (killed) via Task Manager all push processing for such application is ceased until the application is launched again. It's a default behavior for Android devices.

It is actually pretty strange that you are able to receive a notification while the application is killed using Task Manager. As far as I can know it's not possible for Android to receive a notification when the application is terminated.

Could you please verify whether the application is just closed OR killed via Task Manager?

    Hi Nikolai,

thanks For quick reply, but we are recieving notification after kill app from task manager ,but we are no going on desired screen its going somewhere else in app like dashboard, so in this case any possibility to get proper notification.

I apologize for the confusion. The application is not force-stopped, am I correct?

I am not using force stop i just minimize and kill by swipe as general app kill method of android, not using force stop

Then it's okay that you are getting a push notification, however it's strange that the payload is not present. Could you please contact our support service at help@pushwoosh.com ?

    Hi Lucky1219,

What do you do to allow push notification works even app is killed in task manager? I had same trouble now.

Yaa, but onMessageReceived() should be fired. n previously I was using Notifications type but the result was same so i looked for solution and in most of them it was written to make it just a data message type. All the latest apps are available for free on Tutu app download.
