Periodic pushes - Send once [suggestion]

It should be great to make option "Once for device" for Periodic pushes. Usage Example: Weekly pushes that can fires only one time per device. Using of tags is very limited for this task.

  Actually, if you choose only one day of the week as a frequency of the periodic push, it will be delivered only once to each of the devices subsribed to receive pushes from your app.

  

  I might have misunderstood your suggestion, if so, could you please explain it in more details?

  Something like this. Guess we have 2 different periodic pushes:

  First: "It is First Friday with our new app! This push never fires twice!" - This push should be delivered at friday. Once for any new registered device

  Second: "It is Friday again!" - Thus push should be delivered every friday.

  Actually, that is one of the things we are working on - the capability to set various rules for messages to be triggered when some event takes place. For instance, to send a message after one week passes from the moment of registration of the device. Or, to send a message when some tag value changes, which can be used to sent individual messages upon any action a user performs within the app.

  Unfortunately, I cannot provide the exact ETA for this functionality, but we hope to have it up and running in the next 5-7 weeks.
